Description

CHEMTREC and TRANSCAER are delighted to invite you to take part in this exciting pilot of our Resilient Responders Program. The program builds on the success of our Psychology of Command training course which has been delivered to thousands of first responders across the globe. We look forward to your participation and feedback.

The program addresses the unprecedented levels of stress, pressure, and uncertainty faced by responders in their professional and personal lives. With over 80% of responders reporting negative mental health symptoms, the need for proactive support is evident. The program focuses on enhancing individual resilience through the introduction of 7 evidence-based resilience skills. Participants will undergo a resilience assessment, explore tools to boost resilience, and practice applying them in real-world scenarios. The ultimate goal is for responders to understand, improve, and sustain their resilience, leading to better mental well-being and enhanced performance in their demanding roles. Participants will leave the program equipped with practical skills to manage stress, diagnose emotions, and take action when needed, fostering a culture of well-being within the responder community.
