Ethanol Emergency Response Training in Spanish

The Renewable Fuels Association is excited to add another tool to their toolbox. The Ethanol Emergency Response Safety training program is now able to reach new audiences, with the completion of Spanish-language versions of all materials, thanks to the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s (PHMSA) ALERT grant program.

These translated materials include eight modules, each with a PowerPoint presentation that is embedded with instructor notes, an instructor manual, participant guide, and a video module.

RFA has had a growing interest in their training program across the globe. TRANSCAER expanded their program to Mexico last year so expanding emergency response training resources in a new language helps us fulfill TRANSCAER’s mission of helping communities and responders to prepare for possible hazardous material transportation incidents. The Spanish version of the training program is posted on TRANSCAER’s Learning Management System (LMS) site where attendees can take the course at their own pace and will be awarded a certificate of participation upon completion.
