Description
Attendees will become familiar with the Chlorine Institute, CHLOREP, and CHEMTREC. The webinar’s main goal is to provide important information about chlorine emergency response.
The webinar will provide an overview of how the properties of chlorine will affect emergency response actions, treatment of exposures and security concerns.
Attendees will get familiar with the various chlorine transportation and storage containers, how to identify them and differentiate them from other chemical containers, and provide a brief overview of the containment kits that can be used to mitigate leaks from those containers if other methods (i.e. closing valves, etc.) are not successful.
Lastly, this course will provide an overview of the resources that are available before and during an emergency.
NOTE: Registration will remain open right before the webinar begins, however we strongly encourage pre-registration. We look forward to seeing you at this webinar.
