To orient the first responder to the hazards of responding to hazardous materials incidents on the railroad.

The CSX Responder Incident Training Train is used to train first responders of all disciplines in the hazards of responding to hazardous materials incident on railroad property. Upon the completion of this training, the first responder will have an awareness of the different types of tank cars, service equipment, safety features, and steps required to safety negotiate an incident. 

Required Safety Gear: 

No shorts or open toed shoes. Footwear with good tread, gloves, and safety glasses are encouraged.
