Overview

Training includes:

  • This 4 hour session covers safety when responding to Locomotive fires and incidents involving tank cars. Additionally during the program locomotive and tank car design and safety considerations are discussed.

Description

Classroom Sessions

Session 1: During the first two hour block we will discuss the design and features of locomotives as well as responder safety during response to locomotive fires. We will also discuss other fires that may be encountered by emergency responders

Session 2: During this block we will discuss the design and construction features of Tank cars. Additionally we will discuss the types of tanks cars, safety features and other features of tank cars.

Registration will remain open until after the event. Walk-ins are welcome to register on-site at the training event, however we strongly encourage pre-registration.
