GREAT NEWS…TRANSCAER Is Accepting Award Nominations Now & Extending the Deadline to March 15, 2010

The TRANSCAER Awards program for 2009 is now underway. Nominations will be accepted for outstanding TRANSCAER program efforts in 2009 through March 15, 2010. TRANSCAER Awards, in order of award seniority, are:

• TRANSCAER Distinguished Service Award
• National Achievement Award
• Regional Achievement Award
• TRANSCAER Chairman's Award (awarded at the discretion of the current Chairman)
• Individual Recognition Award
• TRANSCAER Certificate of Appreciation


The TRANSCAER® awards program is designed to:

• Recognize the achievements of individuals, companies, and organizations which have gone beyond the normal call of duty to advocate, demonstrate, and implement the principles of TRANSCAER®; 
• Enhance the public recognition of TRANSCAER®; and
• Increase participation in the initiative.

Here are the deadlines for this year’s TRANSCAER Award Nominations:  

• Disseminate Award Forms/Packages Forms Are ONLINE – Accessible Anytime
• Closing/Deadline for Award Nominations March 15, 2010
• Distribute to Awards Committee for Review Week of April 1-7, 2010
• Awards Committee Review. Recipients Selected April 8, 2010
• Notify Recipients in Writing. Announce Recipients April 14, 2010
